About Rachel Victoria

Rachel V Miles is an artist from Staffordshire currently enjoying drawing cityscapes. Her original artworks are representations of the world around us, communicating through the act of drawing.
She’s inspired by the history surrounding the architecture of a city, and the quiet, or hustle and bustle that is created. The more traditional drawings of her home city have a sense of calm and abandonment, yet the contemporary artworks of larger cityscapes are full of energy and busy.
She has also been known to draw “into” an image, looking at similar notions surrounding history, time and place, these are now available as limited edition prints.
She has studied art from a young age and was awarded a BA (hons) Fine Art Degree in 2011. She has since made commission sculptures and continued her art practice of drawing.
