Dawn Youll - ‘Teathered’
BCB Awards, Potteries Museum & Art Gallery, City Centre
Dawn Youll is one of forty ceramic artists across the UK to be selected for the BCB Awards. More of Dawn’s work plus others can be seen on display at the Potteries Museum and Art Gallery until 29 November. Here’s your chance to buy from one of the leading ceramic artists in the country.
Gujarati Water Pot
Earthen Vessels, Roslyn Works, Longton
To emphasise the global presence of ceramics together with the pressures its communities face, the Biennial brings to Stoke-on-Trent the work of local potters from Gujarat, India. Shipped by sea container from this remote semi-desert region, this installation of 200 water pots and vessels must be seen. These amazing pots will be for sale from as little as £10.
Johnny Magee - ‘Marl Hole’
Marl Hole, AirSpace Gallery, City Centre
This print is taken from a week long residency undertaken by five international artists at Ibstock Brick’s Gorsty Quarry, Newcastle. Photographer and film maker Johnny Magee drew upon notions of the 'EPIC' to convey scale and ambition unfolded the artists within this alien landscape. This print is for sale, price upon enquiry.
