Longport is part of Burslem on of the 6 towns of Stoke on Trent. It is on the Trent and Mersey Canal and is close to Dalehall, Trubshaw Cross, Middleport, Westport Lake and Port Hill (Newcastle under Lyme). It is a very ancient part of the Potteries.
Inspired by the Skyline of Stoke on Trent in the early 20th century when Francis Proudlove was a student at the Burslem School of Art.
