Hand made clay tile, decorated by hand printed linocut bottle kiln scene, inspired by the Potteries and mounted onto a wooden base with carved notch for hanging or just prop onto a shelf all hand made and designed by Shauna McCann.
The pottery tile has been hand made with detailing of torn clay edging, the ceramic artworks have been made with glass highlights or without. The tile has been mounted so that it floats from the wooden plynth giving a lovely shadowed finish which suits the uneven handmade nature of the tile. Beautifully thought through and designed. It explores the Potteries in a unique and fresh way using multiple creative techniques to produce the work. Only a small number of these items have been made exclusively for the gallery.
