As Pottery was reaching the houses and tables of a growing developed society, the city was expanding to harness and control it's development as well as enrich and provide for it's working population; The Town Halls, the Churches, the Public Libraries, The Parks, the Telephone Exchange, the Water Board, the Railway Buildings, War Memorials and, Statues to the men and characters that influenced all that this city provided to show and sell at the world market. No great city should sacrifice it's heritage for the sake of progress, and this poster is a celebration of that very ethos. Twenty-Eight of Stoke-On-Trent's One-Hundred and Ninety Three Listed Buildings and Monuments feature on this work.
