Hand painted 2 of 10 vase by Marie Graves. A barn owl sits on a broken saggar amongst the shards of some art deco pots. Watched by a small mouse. This vase is number 2 of a limited edition of 10 and has been painted and fired five times at 800 degrees centigrade with onglaze metal oxide colours and aniseed oil. Designed and painted by Marie Graves, working from her studio in the heart of the Potteries, Stoke on Trent. Each vase is entirely freehand painted and takes a week to produce, each kiln firing takes up to 12 hours to complete. Each piece is signed by Marie and comes with a signed certificate.
