We are delighted to announce a range of hand painted pottery inspired by illustrations of The Potteries by famous artist and ceramicist who was head of The Burslem School of Art, Reginald Haggar. Barewall discovered the illustrations in a book titled "The Football Year" which was published in 1958. Barewall were delighted to find the illustrations which appear to have been long forgotten. We loved the idea of Haggar drawing the scenes for a national book club which included some of the scenes of the Potteries complete with bottle ovens and back street football fields, in play being watched by the locals.
