Original ceramic and found plastic wall hanging art piece by Philip Hardaker titled "War and Innocence", made in 1987.

Wall hanging, artist modelled ceramic and plastic into a design of young female portrait based on an image from the TV news of the time from footage of the city of Beruit. The hair on closer inspection is made from the placement of mini plastic soldiers standing onto the flat surface and backlit. A very powerful peice from its time which is still relevant to the pictures of war and conflict which is seen all around the world today.
