This is the autobiography of locally born and bred artist, Jack Simcock. He was inspired by the surroundings where he lived especially Mowcop and Biddulph Moor in The Staffordshire Moorlands.

This is a writing of his life as an artist and his experiences at The Burslem School of Art, how he found his art to be sold internationally of of his opportunities and of his regrets, written later in life it could be described as his letter to the past.
