The print is signed in pencil by LS Lowry on the right, with the fine art guild stamp to the left. Both have been left visible above the mount.
The original painting by Lowry is dated 1960 and is considered to be one of his most significant paintings. It captures the scene outside the London and North Western Railway Exchange Station in Manchester as Lowry saw it.
