Ronnie Cruwys
British artist Ronnie Cruwys has been drawing the streets for a number of years, bringing her unique combination of technical drawing as an professional architect and fine art training together in wonderful scaled watercolour paintings.
Now a full time professional artist her passion for streets and architecture remains indulged in her love of drawing the high streets, shop frontages and doorways of towns which she has visited across the UK.
Ronnie Cruwys lived in North Staffordshire for a period of time when she enjoyed emercing her time in the streets and buildings of the Potteries particularly Burslem, the Mother Town and Newcastle Under Lyme.
She now enjoys painting in Scotland where she is also now famously painting illustrations for independant luxury brand whiskey companies.
Ronnie was encouraged to draw the streets encouraged to by her internationally famous trainer in Iconography at the Prince's School of Traditional Arts, London.

A collection of her original watercolour paintings of Newcastle Under Lyme streets are also available to see at the Brampton Museum and Art Gallery, Newcastle-under-Lyme, Staffordshire which were perchased and formed part of their collection in 2018.
