POETRY TRIAL : ON THE STREET Poems by Arthur Berry
As part of the 'Stoke-on-Trent Remembers' programme Barewall have been busy working on producing a selection of poems from ON THE STREET poems by Arthur Berry onto boards and posters and placed throughout Burslem and Stoke- on-Trent public transport and at selected venues across the city.
The Arthur Berry poetry trail can be followed on foot and public transport to a place of interest to visit where you can read Arthur's poem, many of which relate to the space in which it sits. Some of the poems relate to 'The Great War' whereas others reference our own unique Potteries heritage and culture through the people Arthur describes.
The trail accompanies a release of a poetry book called ON THE STREET which is available from Barewall Art Gallery or online or on Amazon and at other selected outlets.
The poetry trail opened 8th August 2018 and will continue to 11th November 2018.
