Chatterley Whitfield Colliery sits to the Northern end of Stoke on Trent, near to Chell. It was a mining museum but sadly closed to the public, its site still stands with many of the original mining buildings and winding gear in place. A friend group are raising awareness to be able to get the site regenerated and some of the site restored and back open to the public.
