Using the Jubilee as a starting point I thought about what makes this area stand out and of course its the pottery link, so working in red, blue and black I sketched out a dresser and added items if pottery using red white and blue as the main colours.  I added some red roses and a union flag postcard I am very pleased with the wood effect of the dresser I achieved.  The hardest part was lining up the colours.

I have lived and worked in the area for almost 40 years and I have been working mainly with creative photography for the last 5 years and decided I will have a go at some lino printing for a change I have really enjoyed the technique and plan to do some more work in a similar style.
