N242 Willow and Amazonite Shard Silver Necklace by Unearthed
Beautiful handmade silver necklace with ceramic shard found at Knypersley Reservoir, Stoke on Trent.
The pottery shard featured in this necklace was discovered at the beauty shot reservoir in North Staffordshire. The deep blue shard comes from the centre of a plate adorning a willow pattern. The Willow Pattern is one of the most successful patterns ever made. Although in the late 18th/ early 19th century any blue printed design imitating Chinese Porcelain was often described as Willow, the main features of a true Willow pattern are the bridge with three people crossing it, the willow tree, the boat, the main teahouse, the two birds and the fence in the foreground of the garden. The actual shard shows a hut and a tree. The shard is approx 20mm wide.
A string of light mint coloured Amazonite stones form within the length of the necklace.
This beautiful and unique necklace is made of recycled silver by Unearthed, an eco-friendly jewellery maker based in North Staffordshire.
Size: The necklace measures approx 18 to 22 inches long with the extender which is included.
Made in Stoke on Trent. Boxed with eco-friendly recyclable packaging.
