Oatcake Tea by Moorland Pottery
Oatcake Tea by Moorland Pottery.
Who would have thought it. A great diversification from a great Stoke on Trent pottery to go along with their brilliant Stokieware mugs.
Why Stokie Oatcake Tea?
So we are best known for our Stokieware mugs of course, so what would be better than to create an Oatcake Tea to drink in Stoke's favourite mugs.
But How Can we make an Oatcake Tea?
Like our Oatcake Gin, it takes some imagination to create a bespoke blend of tea that honours the noble Staffordshire Oatcake. The idea came to life with the discovery of oat flowers which are harvested and dried before the formation of the oats. So armed with our oat flowers we eventually arrived at the door of a master tea blender, and worked together to create a brand new blend of tea with the inclusion of our oat flowers. The result is a uniquely flavoured Oatcake tea, worthy of the name. A blend of Indian Assam, Kenyan Black, Sri Lankan Black and Oat Flowering Tops.
Brew one teaspoon per cup for 5 minutes.
