King of The Toe Heads

Toe Head is an Australian term for some body with very blonde hair, as I had when I was younger. This piece is a sort of self portrait (which fortunately doesn't look like me) where I have literally turned into a 'Toe Head'. The ravages of work have turned my head into a giant toe, and my hair into a blonded Keyboard. The keyboard represents our new aim in life, to pound out paperwork, and grind out the bureaucracy of every day life.
Sculptural ceramic and mixed media with acrylics. Very comical figurative art work on decorative plinth base with varied pattern of tiles and mosaics in resin.
