Arthur Berry 50 Paintings to be opened by Godfather of A Northern School, Peter Davies

We are delighted to announce that Peter Davies, art critic, art historian and author of A Northern School and A Northern School Revisited will be opening the Preview of Arthur Berry 50 Paintings exhibition on 19 July 2019 at Barewall Art Gallery and Studio. 

Peter has published many books on British artists and Barewall are wildy excited that this eminent art historian who first described the work of Northern School collectively has agreed to say a few words and open the show Arthur Berry 50 Paintings.

Please do not miss this wonderful moment in the art history of the Potteries when a nationally famous art author will be shining a light on one of our most famous and talented polymath artists Arthur Berry.

Arthur Berry died 25 years ago this year on 4th July 1994.
