Round Box and Cover 1980s by Derek Emms

Hand-thrown porcelain Round Box and Cover 1980s by Derek Emms with fine decoration of blue brush stroke leaf pattern with red berries. Made in the 1980s by British Potter and educator Derek Emms.

The Derek Emms mark forms part of the design on the foot of the base of the box. An exhibition label is attached to the base. 

The Leaf and Berry pattern was hand-decorated by D. Emms.

Round box 11.2cm diameter.

This round box and cover were exhibited at The Potteries Museum & Art Gallery (City Museum) in the 1980s during a show called "Take 12", when it was purchased from the exhibition by the collector.
