A very large pen drawing of Cox's Entry, Burslem from Brickhouse Street, Burslem looking towards the Burslem Town Hall Clock Tower by Anthony Forster.

The artist created this drawing in 1980s as part of a project called Burslem Saturday. It does however it depict a scene from the turn of the 20th century in keeping with the days of Arnold Bennett.

Burslem Saturday project which Anthony Forster was commissioned to paint Burslem for in the 1980's, it brought together a celebration of Burslem through art, music and writing.

Pen on PAper. Signed. Circa 1980s.

Framed in a minimal 1980s metallic frame. The drawing is mounted and under glass.

Framed Size: 76cm x 46cm 

Provenance: Direct from a business business which has been situated in the town since the 1870's whose father bought the painting at the time.
