The pottery company Bullers Ltd was established at Milton in 1920 as manufacturers of electrical porcelain insulators. Bullers opened a thriving art pottery studio with the help of the principal at the Burslem School of Art, Gordon Forsyth. The studio existed from 1939 to the early 1950s. The company was later consolidated into Allied Insulators, which ceased production at Milton in 2001.

The book offers a fascinating insight into this one of a kind 20th century pottery company including an extensive details and photographs of collectable ranges and markings. Its also details the names of the studio artists with information about their designs and dates at Bullers Studio. This is an essential reference for any collectors of Bullers, and a very useful companion for buyers of Bullers Studio Pottery available through the art gallery. We are delighted to be able to offer this bible on the Bullers Studio period to help to expand the knowledge of British studio pottery design in the early to mid 20th century made in Stoke on Trent.
