The Lunar Men book - The Friends Who Made the Future by Jenny Uglow

The Lunar Men is of huge interest to the Potteries and particularly Burslem as one of the Lunar places, particularly as one of its founding members was Burslem born and bred Josiah Wedgwood.

Jenny Uglow's fascinating book about the friends largely based in the Midlands in the 18th century who changed the future of Britain forever, know as The Lunar Men because they were able to travel to meet each other by the light of the full moon.

The gallery is based in Burslem and works with Lunar by Niall Keating restaurant to host the Lunar Art and Wine Society monthly event at the restaurant. We wanted to bring the knowledge of this wonderful book by Jenny Uglow to the forefront in beautiful bund harback with dust covers intact for your to enjoy the massive contribution of knowledge which came out of Burslem to help to found Britain as we know it today for just £10.
