Prees Heath is an area near to Whitmore in Shropshire, England. It has experienced a very interesting and changing history throughout the 20th century including being used as military bases during both wars. It was also used to intern aliens during WWII, then as an airfield base. Afterwards the wooden structures were lived in, it had a cinema, shops and a swimming pool, later being turned back to heathland and becoming a place of special scientific interest in the 1990s.
