This original work from 1970 by Sandra Blow is a work showing her period of using muted and simple rustic materials. It lends a connection to the British landscape yet talks to modern art simplicity of which she was prominent player in Britain. It would work beautifully in any 20th century art collection particularly with British studio pottery for example. Blow had a lot to do with British art and especially St Ives and Cornwall and the image working with cow grass, ink and grit is about as natural and authentic as it gets to a modern small rendition of the British countryside.
