Lidded Blue Nuka on Temuku Stoneware Round Pots by Alex Shimwell
A stunning series of hand-thrown round stoneware lidded pots by Burslem-born potter Alex Shimwell. Each pot features a rich Temuku chocolate matt glaze body with a dramatic dripped Nuka glaze — shifting from blue to green — creating a finish that is entirely unique to each piece.
Made in 2024 and signed with Alex's distinctive maker's mark, these pots are as much sculptural objects as they are functional vessels. They make a striking statement on a table, shelf, or mantelpiece.
