Oatcake Brekky is an original acrylic painting on canvas by Paine Proffitt, celebrating the Staffordshire oatcake and its place in local food culture. Its breakfast-inspired title offers a warm connection to a much-loved Potteries tradition.
The work was created as part of a collection for exhibition at Barewall accompanying the release of a photographic book about North Staffordshire oatcake shops. For a collector with a taste for local heritage, it makes a personal addition to a kitchen, dining space or collection of Potteries-inspired art.
