“I have long been fascinated by frames, and more so by the idea and process of framing.  A picture or object is usually framed whereby the choice of frame is inspired by its contents, the frame becoming of secondary importance.  In this series of artwork the process is reversed, making the frames of primary importance the focus being on the frames themselves.   Where the contents are not included in the frame, the purchaser is invited to put what they will – a small treasure or photo – into the frame.”
