Very large painting by Ian Kent titled "The Waiting".
Painted in the artist's studio in 1998.
This is one of a part of a series of paintings inspired by standing rocks found in the British landscape. The work was exhibited at the Potteries Museim and Art gallery in Hanley, Stoke on Trent Open Art exhibition in the 90s.
Mixed media on wooden panel, worked on the surface with blow touch.
Artist made frames which have been charred and sealed.
