Barewall's Role in the Lemmy Forever Story
The incredible LEMMY FOREVER statue, created by Andrew Edwards, was unveiled on 9 May 2025. The event was a huge success, leading to the square where Lemmy stands being renamed "Lemmy Plaza."
The project, run by IFK Legacy CIC (IFK stands for Ian Frazer Kilmister, Lemmy's real name), has grand plans, including acquiring and opening the Queens Theatre as Kilmister Halls. This ambitious venue will feature a recording studio, an 850-seat concert venue, the Rainbow Bar and Grill, an instrument library, and a music school.
Barewall has proudly dedicated gallery space to support the early fundraising efforts for IFK Legacy and have been proud to be part of this fantastic community and legacy.
To learn more about the IFK Legacy CIC project, including exciting news about their own dedicated space next to the gallery, please contact them directly at info@ifk-legacycic.co.uk.
