Fairground c1953 by Robert Bird
Original framed art by Robert Bird.
Watercolour and gouache on paper circa 1950s possibly near to or after the Coronation in 1953.
Robert Bird is also known as Bob Bird, a gallery owner and artist who was also art critic for the North Staffordshire Sentinel newspaper in the 80's.
Framed in an original 1960's simple slip edge metal frame with oversized white mount with a deep base typical of 20th century modern style.
This is a very attractive colourful niave appreciation of a fairground from above which has all of the merits which come with a 20th century modern picture.
