Gladstone No11 Model by Tatterstack
A love letter to the Potteries skyline, the Gladstone No11 is a hand-crafted architectural sculpture by Chris Twigg — artist, model maker, and proud son of Stoke-on-Trent.
At its heart is one of the most storied structures in British ceramic heritage: the No11 bottle oven at Gladstone China, now preserved as the Gladstone Pottery Museum. Rising from a late 19th-century factory courtyard, this oven is an emblem of the industrial artistry that shaped an entire region — and an entire culture. Twigg's sculpted interpretation captures its silhouette with remarkable fidelity, rendered in hand-cast Jesmonite and finished with hand-painted weathering effects that give each piece its own distinct character.
No two are alike. The individualised patina means your Gladstone No11 will be subtly, beautifully its own.
Part of Twigg's wider Kiln Character Collection, which also includes The Minton and The Three Sisters — all available via Barewall.
