Greenbird and Fetch Me Another Beer is an original framed ceramic artwork by Philip Hardaker, made at his Stoke-on-Trent studio in 2026. It's a small piece with plenty of cheek, pairing a hand-modelled bird with a blunt, very Potteries punchline.
The work
An aqua blue-green ceramic bird sits beside a blue-glazed word tile. Around them Hardaker has set found shards of vintage bone china, some painted in gold and blue. Collecting these shards is part of his practice, and it gives each piece a direct link to the Potteries' industrial past.

The work is set in a raw, natural reclaimed wooden block frame. It's ready to hang on the wall or stand on a shelf, mantelpiece or desk.
