Chris Burns is renowned for his strikingly detailed pencil portraits of rock legends. He drew Lemmy in 2015 — the year of his death — to capture the spirit of the Motörhead frontman forever. The image has since gained worldwide recognition.
In May 2026, Barewall hosted Chris Burns at the first Burslem Urban Rock Festival, where he gave a live demonstration and personally signed a number of his published works, including this Lemmy portrait — right next to the Lemmy Forever statue in Burslem.
