The D Road
A new comedy written by Deborah McAndrew and performed by Claybody Theatre at Spode Works Stoke on Trent in 2019.
Pam has lived in the same house all her life. It survived demolition when the busy A500 was built, and now stands isolated and forgotten. Her grandson, Liam dreams of leaving Stoke for the bright lights of Manchester, but it's not that simple.
Then a charismatic stranger tunrs up at the door, and Pam and Liam discover that things are even more complicated than thought.
