Trentham Lake - Cocooned by Louise E Pearson
Trentham Lake - Cocooned is an original acrylic landscape painting on canvas board by Staffordshire artist Louise E Pearson. Inspired by Trentham Lake, this semi-abstract work brings together expressive marks and layers of pink, yellow and green around a softly reflective stretch of water.
The square composition offers an intimate interpretation of the local landscape, with foliage enclosing the lake. Its dark chocolate distressed frame provides a contrast to the painting’s luminous colour.
