Arthur Berry: A Ragged Richness by Peter Davies, available now

Published by Barewall in December 2021, Arthur Berry: A Ragged Richness is the long-awaited monograph on one of the best loved Potteries artists of the 20th century, written by art historian Peter Davies.

The hardback book is available now from Barewall Art Gallery in Burslem, by calling 07932 717 718 or ordering online.

The publication was followed by a hugely successful major exhibition of Berry's work of the same name, which had the honour of opening the new Jim Wain Art Gallery at The Brampton Museum and Art Gallery, Newcastle-under-Lyme, in January 2022.

Since then we have enjoyed Arthur Berry's centenary year in 2025 which included a year long series of exhibitions, talks, walks, a production of a lost play at The New Victoria Theatre and creation of new content performed at the Dipping House, Spode commissioned by Claybody Theatre.
