Geoffrey Wynne wins James Fletcher-Watson Memorial Award at RI Annual Show 2019
We are delighted to let you know that 2019 was a great year for Potteries born artist Geoffrey Wynne when he won the Janes Fletcher-Watson memorial award at the Royal Institute of Watercolourists annual show in Pall Mall at the Mall Gallleries in London.
This prestigious members show of world class watercolour artists occurs annually at the Mall and includes demonstrations and master classes from the best globally. Geoffrey who is an elected member and also won in 2018 the Art Critic award for his homage to the North Staffordshire Miners with a series of paintings titled Written in Dust, won this award for his painting called Revolution which sold at the show.
It shows a street view of the courtyard of Bulington House which is the home of the Royal Academy of Art, from Piccadilly, London.
